As the International Year of Glass 2022 reaches its conclusion, the last formal event is in the UN Headquarters in New York at 11:00 am on Wednesday 14th December. It is our opportunity to thank the many Ambassadors who supported the application, and the United Nations for permission to run the Year.
A lively multimedia presentation by a team of speakers will highlight why glass has been worth celebrating and the best of the many hundreds of activities that took place during the year and involved hundreds of thousands of people from all five continents. It will also explore the ripples that have been created and how they will take the lessons learned to future generations alongside the many legacy projects that will store so many lasting and positive messages.
Apart from these concluding talks, important social events will also run in the Conference Hotel on Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon.
