Teresa Medici works at the Cultural Department of the Regional Government of Lombardy, Italy, supporting museums and their accreditation system. She received a Ph.D. in Archaeology and is the author of papers on archaeological glass, with a special focus on late medieval and early modern Iberian Peninsula. She served as the Chair of ICOM Glass IC from 2019 to 2022 and was the coordinator of the IYOG Museums, Art, Archaeology and History Group.  Member of the I&D Unit VICARTE, Portugal, and board member of the Italian Committee of the AIHV - Association Internationale pour l'Histoire du Verre, her main interests are medieval and early modern glass in Portugal and glass as heritage.
